For those of you who watched (and hopefully even enjoyed) Toward the Terra, the manga version was in the spotlight this month at The Manga Critic. What is a "Manga Movable Feast" you ask? In essence, a group of critics from across the vast Internet read a particular manga and offer their thoughts on the text in whatever form they wish. This time, there were opinions regarding not only the text in question, but also some of the Keiko Takemiya's other manga (including Andromeda Stories) and also comparisons to the work of one of her contemporaries, Moto Hagio.

I don't know about how other people operate, but for me stuff like this is a great way to get my bearings and help hone my own opinion. Though in this case I already had a pretty good idea of my feelings about the source material (in short: I love it!).
